Freelance Writer

August 2020 - Present

As a freelance lifestyle journalist I've written for publications like Apartment Therapy, Better Homes & Gardens, The Knot, and Boston Weddings, among others.

Boston Magazine

August 2018 - July 2020

As a staff writer, I covered weddings and interior design on bostonmagazine.com and in the print editions of Boston magazine, Boston Weddings, and Boston Home. I also contributed to the travel, real estate, and lifestyle verticals online and managed the Boston Weddings and Boston Home Instagram accounts, more than doubling and tripling the followers on each account respectively.

Wayfair

August 2017 - July 2018

As an associate copywriter for Joss & Main, I conceptualized and wrote four to six new marketing emails per week, with an audience of 8.5 million subscribers. I also wrote copy for all Joss & Main Instagram posts, with a 98% increase in MoM visits my first month. In addition, I contributed to Joss & Main rebranding efforts and helped establish the new brand voice. Lastly, I mentored & trained our summer copy intern on best practices and edited her copy.

Elle Decor and Veranda magazines

September 2016 - December 2016

As a web editorial intern, I pitched stories weekly and wrote approximately four news, lifestyle, design, and travel stories per week. I also managed both magazines' Pinterest pages.

As a features editorial intern, I wrote one to three articles per week for web and print covering lifestyle and entertainment topics.

Education

I graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a B.S. in journalism in 2016.
